Mont Forel- An Expedition on the Icecap

The highest peak in the remote Schweizerland Range, Mont Forel (3360m) lies on the very edge of the Greenlandic Icecap.  following the traditions of the most adventurous expeditions and starting at sea level, the team will travel in 130 miles to the peak, make an ascent, then return to the coast through the heart of the Schweizerland Range.  Combining Polar Crossing techniques with mountaineering, this expedition presents a challenging objective for mountaineers who seek real adventure.

Objective: An ascent of Mont Forel (3360m) from sea level, travelling on the Icecap to access the peak, and returning through the Schweizerland Range.
Timeframe: 27 days
